The Wonder Place & Friends!

We had a busy week this week!  After going to the pool on Wednesday, I wanted to take Punkin' to The Wonder Place in LR on Thursday!  We got up & got around & headed out the door...of course stopping at Sonic first!  ;)

He got in my jewelry drawer while I was getting ready & proceeded to put on almost every bangle!  Haha!  It's funny that he even had on some orange ones that matched his shirt!  :P

This is when we were headed out the door & I was telling him to take off all the bracelets & that he could take ONE with him!  Ha!

 We finally got to The Wonder Place & he went wild...he was just too excited to run around & play & see all the new & different toys!

There was a fun little play kitchen...I would love to have one for him at home, but I know that I would get in trouble from alooooot of people for doing that!  He had fun though!

There was a sand table that I thought was neat & made me want to get Punkin' a sand box for the back yard!  He would come in muddier every day than he already does though!  :O

They also had a "vet" clinic...& he is SOO into animals right now!  I let him listen to the animals heart just like the doctor listens to his & he loved it!  I just enjoyed seeing him doing new things for the first time & enjoying them, & just being a happy little boy!

He didn't want to play with the water table at first...but I finally made him because I knew he would enjoy it!  We left shortly after.  It was a fun morning, but I can't say that we will go back.  It might have been more fun if I had gone with another mom & child & had someone to visit with...but I know Ryder enjoyed it, so it was worth it!  =)

We called Ms. Abby to see if we could have lunch with her since we were in LR & luckily she was available!  We hung out at her house for a while after & then headed home!

Mommy got to get out & have dinner with some friends at Oak Street Bistro & then do a little shopping with them as well.  No big deal..but it was fun to get out & eat without my lil man!  ;P

We THEEEN went over to Kelly's house.  It was already late & was getting later...but for some crazy reason, I let him have some ice cream.  Kelly even let him put sprinkles on it!  He ate it all up & was asking for more!  We then baked cookies & I'm not even joking...the kid probably ate 5!  I also got to try out there Kuerig & I am in LOOOVE!  I.want.one!  AHH!

We went & visited with some friends & then me & Punkin' came home, snuggled & went to bed!  It was a fun & successful day with friends!  =)

1st Pool Day!

We headed out to the pool for the first time this year earlier this week!  I was so excited to take Punkin'!  This time last year he couldn't even walk yet, so I had to have him on my hip like the ENTIRE time.  I thought it would be WILLLD this summer, but it wasn't too bad.  He didn't care too much about the water, just the toys & running around the pools the whole time!  I think that is almost even worse than him being obsessed with the water, because I just chased him around & would get hot & couldn't even get in the water...because he didn't want to & was to busy finding some other place to run to!  :P

I plan on working on getting him to love the water more...but it's just going to take time!  =)

And...just for kicks-this was his first trip to the pool last summer!  AHHHH...

CAC update...day 9

I didn't finish watching Thursday's session but I have watched a bit of it from yesterday.  There weren't many witnesses to take the stand, but more of jailhouse video tapes of conversations between Casey & her parents.  The defense says that Casey knew at this time that Caylee was no longer alive.  Knowing that & then listening to the tapes, shows that Casey is a top-of-the-line (if that's possible) liar!   She goes on & on about how she knows Caylee is okay & she knows that they are going to be all together again one day soon.

She also talks about what she wants over & over again.  She wants to be home.  She wants to get out of there.  She wants to be at home with Caylee.  She wants to be a family again.  She wants to have Caylee's birthday party.  It's just so odd for her to be saying all that when she knows that her little girl is not coming home & isn't okay.

Another thing...if Casey's dad had anything to do with the death of Caylee...he would have also known at the time these videos were recorded.  He didn't make any indication of being guilty of anything, or have anything to hide from anybody.  He didn't go on & on, on one certain subject or topic, or have anyt "slip-ups" that might make you question he was guilty of something.  He even made reference to wanting Caylee back so she would say, "Joe Joe, let's go swim".  Don't you think if he was apart of burying Caylee's little body in the woods after he found her after she drowned in their swimming pool..he would have really made that direct statement like that?  I don't think so.

She said to her dad, " You have been a great dad & a great grandfather & don't ever think that you weren't."  This just makes me think if she had been abused since the age of 8, by her father, I wouldn't think she would say those things to him.  

Casey showed a lot more emotion today that I had ever seen her show.  During those videos she cried & cried & cried big tears.  It makes me wonder if she is missing Caylee, realizing what she has done & that she is going to spend the rest of her life in jail, or that she has thrown her dad under the bus, when he really didn't do anything wrong.

Also...if her dad was guilty, I am surprised that during the three years she has been sitting in jail she hadn't ever told someone that her dad was the guilty one & he should be the one in jail...not her!

I just hate that the defense is saying George Anthony is the guilty one.  I think it's going to eventually bite them in the butt, but that doesn't make it any easier on him.  I hope Casey realizes what she is doing.

I am starting to think that maybe...just maybe Casey didn't right out kill Caylee.  But I do think she did do something...I don't know what, but I think she is guilty for something, maybe not murder...but definitely something.

I say that she is guilty for something, because of all the lying that took place before Caylee was reported missing & as well as in the jailhouse tapes.  She currently says that she knew Caylee was dead when those videos were recorded of her with her parents.  Then why did she lie about it?  Why did she give her parent's any hope that they were going to see Caylee again?  Why did she go on & on about having a "feeling" that she knew Caylee was okay?  & that she knew no one was hurting her etc. etc.?  Man oh man...

just a little bit of my tid bit!

I haven't read anything, but have heard that today they talked about hairs there were found in the trunk of Casey's car...only one of like twelve came up to match the hair in Caylee's hair brush.  I'm interested to hear the details.  What have y'all heard/read new from today?

May Product Love

I skipped April Product Love & was kinda sad, but I just didn't have anything I was in love with at the time!  But I'm back for May!  I can't believe it is already June!  Wow!  I don't have too many loves...but I hope you enjoy!

{Hawaiian Tropic Lime Colada after sun lotion}

I used this stuff in High School & hadn't used it for a while, because I hadn't been able to find it.  I finally saw it again the other day at the WM I usually don't go to. I was so happy!  It's really thick & stays on my skin for a long time...I do believe that it helps keep my tan longer & the smell of it is so yummy!  Sometimes I put it on after I get in from the sun, & then again later after I shower.  

{EOS lip balm}

I got this stuff for my mom for her stocking last Christmas.  She always likes new/different lip balm & this was definitely different!  Since then she has bought almost every flavor!  Ha!  She bought me my first one a few weeks ago...but now I'm in love with the Honeysuckle one!  It's so easy & fun & smooth to put on...I've only seen it at the check out lanes at WM!  Go getcha' some!  :P  Like 3 bucks...

I had heard of Pinterest a few times out in the blog world, but didn't bother messing with it.  But one day I up & decided to ask for an invite & a few days following I got "accepted" & got to "pinning" away!  I have so many different file folders organized on my computer whether is home decor, home ideas for the future or crafts or things I want to make.  Now  Pinterest can organize & keep all that FOR ME!  It is TOTALLY up my ally & I love looking at other things other people have found!  You can click on the link above to request an invite!  =)  You can visit Jenna's Journey where she blogged today on how to use Pinterest!

{Scentsy's July Warmer of the Month!}

Look how fun this is!  I can't even believe how cute it is!  It was just announced yesterday & you can pre-order now but they won't be available until July 1st!  I will definitely be getting one of these, especially because it's my birthday month!  :P

brain dump...& ramblings

• Today was such a good day for me & lil Punkin'!  He's been sleeping pretty late, which is totally my fault because I've been letting him stay up so late...we got up, ate some breakfast & got ready to head out & run some errands.  We ran through the bank, went & got my textbooks, went to the police station to registrar my alarm system, & then of course we went to Chick!  ;)  We had a 30 minutes or so before I needed to go pick up kids from school, so we ran in TJ Maxx & I found my first few purchases for Ryder's 2nd birthday!  =)
• For 1, month long class, I got three HUUUUGE chapter-like looking books.  World Literature.  Those words just want me to make throw up...seriously.
• I sure do love TJ!  I could go in there every day & it's like a new store! 
• While playing in the Chick play place, Ryder goes underneath the steps & there was also an older little girl under there today & he would lay down & say " 'nuggle 'nuggle" it was sweet, but I did not want him doing that!  Ha!
• He had the nastiest-poopiest diaper while inside TJ Maxx & they didn't have a changing table...so I had to go outside & change him in the car & then go back in to check out!  Ahh..I do NOT miss those days, because this has rarely happened in the last year while we are out & about!  :O
• I am starting to feel guilty about starting school next week & having to leave Ryder every day.  It breaks my heart...he will be with two of his favorite people in the world, KeeKee & Mary Beth, but it will be hard for me to be away from him for so long.  I did it last summer, but he wasn't old enough then to realize I was leaving etc. etc. 
• I think I'm going to take him to the pool tomorrow, & then The Wonder Place in LR on Thursday!
• I am not watching The Bachelorette this season.  I'm actually a bit surprised at myself!  Ha!  I am just not interested...at all.  In Ashley or anybody else!
• I am so SO SOOOO ready for Big Brother to start back up!  It's not till July 3rd or 13th or something...but last season was my first season to watch & I LOOOOVED it!  I wasn't as trashy as I had always thought it was...in fact it really wasn't trashy at all.  
• I read today that Patrick Dempsey is leaving Grey's Anatomy after they finish filming season 8.  What will that show be without  McDreamy?--NOTHING!  He said he doesn't know what the rest of the cast is going to do..but I mean seriously, him & Mer have to get a divorce, or he is going to have to die!  So...it will be interesting to see where the show goes!
• I have started to cut up fresh fruit the day I get them from the store.  It makes snacks & meal times so much easier & I don't have to get a knife out every single time!  Just an idea! 
• I hope y'all are having a good week!  It sure does feel like Monday to me!  I'm all off!
