Pulling UP!

Well...for about a week now, I have forgotten to mention that Punkin is crawling. Sometimes normal & sometimes all arms, with the rest of his body dragging. But whatever he does, he can get from one side of the room to the other before you even realize!

With all that said...

I stepped out of the room for....TWO SECONDS today, and came back to find THIS! I was like OMG OMG OMG! I knew my camera was in my moms car, then I realized the video camera was too...so I ran around looking for a camera! Luckily my dad's was in the office! By the time I got back he was still like this! He had just been playing around with the carseat for a while, but WHO KNEW?! -(Excuse the messy room....two tests this week, that's my excuse!)-

"Look Mom!"

"What do I do now?"

It's kinda an awkward position huh? He was like this for a good while!

Then he started fussing so I helped him down.

A few minutes later I put him in his crib...and then find him like THIS!

He was so proud of himself..AGAIN!

& then while I was on my computer trying to study I look over, and he has pulled the bumper down, and is looking at me through the posts. All I can see are his two sweet little eyes, and when he sees me see him, he just GRIIIIIINNNED! =)

one year ago...

YESTERDAY!

I had full intentions of posting yesterday, but we just had so many things going & visitors, it didn't happen!

One year ago yesterday, yes April Fool's Day, we found out our lil man was a BOY! =) I'll never forget, I was so nervous/excited, but didn't want them to play a trick on me saying it was one thing when it really wasn't, because it was April Fool's Day! AHHH!

I took off work early to meet Jake & his mom at Market Place for lunch, then we all headed to LR. Jake and I went back to the ultrasound room, he made his mom wait in the waiting room. We weren't in there long when she had paused the picture on the screen....it was ALLLLL boy. She didn't say anything, just sat there. Jake & I thought we knew what it was, but we didn't want to just ASSUME! We both had tears of joy! Everything else with the ultrasound looks great, and we couldn't wait to get to the waiting room to tell his mom! She cried as well...and I was immediately on the phone texting away to everyone I knew that it was a BOY and his name would be Jacob Ryder!

ALL boy! I love you so much lil Punkin' and still find it hard to believe you are MINE!

6 month Check Up

We had Punkin's 6 month well child check today...yeah kinda late, but it's okay! He was soo good as always! He cried for a bout 2 seconds after his shots, but then I picked him up & he was GREAT! We went to Belk to get a few things, and it was just so pretty outside we decided to stroll to a few more stores, just to look...we had no reason to buy anything!

Weight: 17 lbs. 13 oz. 42%tile

Length: 27 inch. 56%tile

Head Cirm: 171/4 inch. 40%tile

Doing MUCH better than we were in the beginning, especially with our weight!

Punkin got a hold of my shoes this morning! He was TOO funny, and of course he found the tag still on them!

Then I found him like THIS! He had dumped ALL the toys out of the basket, as usual, and had turned it over and proceeded to stick his head inside of it...all because there was a hidden tag inside! HA! CRAZZZZZY BOY!--But I love him to DEATH! =) Sometimes I still can't believe he's mine, and that I carried him past full term...and he's almost 7 months old...and HE'S MINE! WOW!

This boy is TOO funny, and just keeps me laughing ALL DAY LONG!

Friends, Tags & Birthdays!

Whitney & Abbey came to see me and lil man last night! It was so good to see them and just TRY to catch up! It was WAY past lil man's bed time but he played with them for a little bit!

This morning before church, things had gotten TOO quite, so I peaked around the corner & Ryder was playing with this little tags I have put on the baskets in the bookshelf to label things. He has started to have a thing for "tags" lately...TY beanie baby tags, the lil nap brand tags on blankets, stuff animals, clothes...EVERYTHING! I'm in the process of making him a lil taggie blanket that has little tags all the way around, which I know he will LOVE!

He finally got what he crawled all the way over there to get..or should I say scooted!?

I sat him up to help him reach better, & then he found another one, closer to his level! At one point he had one in each hand!

We went to church this morning, and he did great in the nursery, like usual...he never sleeps though because there is just TOO much going on! After church we headed to Greenbrier to see Papa John because today is his 85th birthday! WOW! He was born in 1925! He was doing great and was so glad to see lil man! It was the first time we have had Ryder, Garrett, Dad & Papa John all together at the same time!

easter BUNNY & BASEBALL!

Friday night, Dad & I took Ryder to see the Easter Bunny at the mall for the first time. He did GREAT, and didn't even think about being scared! There was no one there so we got in & out of there in less than 10 minutes. Then we went and ate at US Pizza in the Heights. We had delicious salad and pizza of course!

Saturday Uncle G had a double header against Springdale and since it was so pretty outside, Punkin and I loaded up to go! He did so good the whole time, and just loved being outside and being passed around from mommy to mommy! He did not cry once the whole time we were out there. I have been blessed with such a wonderful baby! God knew I needed an easy one!
