Poppy Day!

Thank goodness for wonderful dads that turn into wonderful Poppys!  Poppy got to go eat breakfast with Ryder a few weeks ago and I think they both had a blast!

Ryder gets overly excited anytime anyone comes to his school to eat with him or do an activity, or read a book, etc.

Look at those genuine smiles!  These two have a special bond and I know its only going to grow!

well hello!

Just want to pop in on this lovely Monday!  Summer is already flying by--I thought we would be "bored" but we haven't even slowed down enough to go to the pool yet!

I spent my weekend away in Nashville with some lovely ladies celebrating this Bride To Be!  I can't wait to share more of the trip with you guys but here are some highlights!

But today...this is where I'll be!

Hope you have a fantastic day {even thought it's Monday} and make the very most of it!

tacos 4 life {T4L}

I already talked a little bit about Tacos 4 Life HERE, but since then I've been back since then...I wanted to share a little bit more about it and add some pics!
One of my favorite things is that in this eating area, all of the chairs are different!  Some metal, some wood, come cushioned, some patio chairs--you name it!  So much fun!
The wall of all The Founders that helped make T4L come alive!
They've been open since Monday...and I've been three times and I have NO SHAME!  I've gotten something different each time I've gone and I seriously and dying to get back there ASAP because there are so many other things I want to try!

One day Allie and I got there RIGHT when it opened and there was already a line of people standing outside the door waiting for them to open.  That is the only reason all these seats are open!  Not 20 minutes later, the line was wrapped around the inside of the restaurant.
There are so many different features and walls that I wanted to take pictures of every time, but there was always so many people I just couldn't...but I finally got this one!  The pink is threat thats been put around nails!  I love this!

They even have a fun photo-booth with props that you can use and hashtag your pics on Twitter or IG for a chance to win free Tacos, but again it's been so crazy in there, I haven't had a chance to get back there yet!

I introduced my parents to the goodness and they were THOROUGHLY impressed!--and I honestly haven't heard one person say that anything bad about the food!  There are so many different unique sauces that just grab your tastebuds in such a unique way--it's what keeps me coming back for sure!
I went with a quesadilla the last time I went.  LOVED it and great alternative if you don't want a taco!  They use their cheese dip inside the dilla and that's really what I enjoyed most about it!  Such a unique cheese dip taste for sure!
The owners have a heart of gold and you can see that in all of the hard work and time that they've put into making a difference, even if it's just a small one, in a little bitty AR town!

This is a mango habanera taco and fish taco (my current fave) with black beans as a side.

Just look at all that yummy goodness!

Again...T4L is a meal 4 meal program.  I think when I went with my parents we "donated" 7 meals just by eating there!  If you're going to go out to eat and spend $$ why not spend it, eat yummy food, and also feed the starving children.  A great and simple way to give back!

I am thankful this idea is right here in my in my hometown, and I want anyone and everyone coming through to try it out!  It will NOT disappoint--and if it does, I'll buy your meal! ;)

bass pro class

Yesterday it was time for R's first class at Bass Pro!  I had mentioned these in our Summer Bucket List post--but not said anything else about them.  KeeKee saw them in the paper one day and they are FREE summer classes for kids that are around 20 minutes each.  I want to say there are 5-6 different classes and for every class you attend, you get a new pin to go on your lanyard (just like the Disney World pins and lanyards, if you've been there!).

R was excited and couldn't wait for us to get out the door yesterday morning!

First up was archery!  The kids were all so sweet to each other.  One boy even offered to share his seat with R and that seriously made R's day!  He later told me that, that boy "filled his bucket!"

At the end of the class they got to go back to the back of the building and shot a real bow!! Somebody was pretty PUMPED about this!!  Santa is already working hard on something for somebody list year! ;)

We stayed around for one more class--Shooting and Hunting I think and then we were outta there!!

A sweet man took one of all of us together (not to mention the 26 other ones he took on accident)! :P

Next stop was Krispey Kreme!  We were hoping the red light would be on and R would get to see them making them, but it wasn't!  So we settled for donuts instead! :P
I got chocolate milk and R got water.  I caught that little stinker taking my milk and drinking it!!!  I told him he should have gotten some if that's what he wanted!!  He said, "I didn't know they had it here!"  And yes...I took it back and drank it ALL! :P
Mad at me for taking back MY milk!!!  (See his pins!?)
...and just for kicks!  I couldn't pass up this deal at Bass Pro!  Best $3.99 I spent all summer! :P

That officially marks two things off of our Summer Bucket List!

summer bucket list {2014}

I had already written out our Summer Bucket List, but was inspired yesterday by Brittney to blog about it!  We've already accomplished a few of these things and are even doing some of them today!  The list isn't too extravagant, but I want R to have things to look forward to during this time of "summer" together!  Hopefully a few of these can be done a few times for added fun!

What do you have on your Summer Bucket List that I might be missing!?  We are all for ideas!

Is it Friday yet?!  Have a HAPPY Thursday ladies and gents! ;)
