Just a lil flash back...

...a lil flash back at my sweet Valentine last year!  Boy what a difference a year makes.  I just love him EVEN more!

Our Special Day!

Today was a perfect, & GREAT day!  I didn't even really "plan" it which is SO not like me, but it turned out to be so memorable & I grew to love my son EVEN more!  I made him chocolate chip banana nut bread mini muffins last night & of course he LOOOOVED them! He kept calling them "tooties" (cookies) I guess cause they had chocolate chips in them!  :P

I let him open his presents while he was eating his breakfast, so I knew he couldn't run away so I could take some pictures!  Ha!

 I've just been picking little things up here & there the last few weeks for him when I think of something, or see something he has to have!  I LOVE Bright Baby books, & we have a "color" one & I found "animals", "trucks" & "first words" at TJ Maxx & snagged them up because I just LOVE them!  We have already looked through all the new ones today & there are so many great pictures & new words I can't wait for him to learn!

I also got him a loofa scrubby thing for the bath tube because he LOVES mine, bath water color changing tablet things, some bath markers & a Thomas the train DVD because I am trying to get him to enjoy watching movies!  Still NOT gonna happen!!

I made this a while back using my Silhouette & never took pictures of it to show!  I like it but don't LOVE it...these were the only Valentine's Day paper Hobby Lobby had besides pink & it was just too much black for me...it needed more red!  But by the time I realized that I was NOT driving back across town & knew it would work for this year!

Punkin' took a SUPER long nap after we played a little bit this morning & then I got him up, got him dressed & we headed out for the day!  It was SO pretty out & SO hard to believe that there was SNOW on the ground...& LOTS of it...just a few days ago!  That's ARKANSAS for ya! 

He just loves being outside SO much & I am ready for the spring weather to stick around so we can play out there every day!  It's still a bit too muddy to play outside though for us...

I have heard a few requests for the mohawk again, or asking where it went!  His hair is just too long for it right now...I miss it too sometimes.  I'm just scared to go get it cut again because they butchered it so bad last time...(even though I'll take him back to my stylist).  It is getting long & stringy!  :/

We went to Maggie's cookies for a little treat..."tootie"!  I got him a smiley & we got KeeKee & Pop's a bag of goodies each & were gonna go surprise them at work!  Thank goodness for that bib because that boy can make a MESS!

Pops was pretty happy to see us, & I just prayed the whole way there that he would be in the office when we got there!  Luckily he was..& all his coworkers & Ryder got to show off for all of them a little bit!  He said "Hobby Lobby" for them which is SOOOO funny!  Oh he's a hoot!

Next we surprised KeeKee at her school!  I had never taken him up there before because of germs!  ECCCKK!!  He did great though!  One story...the navy blue chairs that most schools had are what's in my mom's room.  Well, Ryder walked up to them & said "de-dus" aka Jesus.  We were like what's he talking about?!  Then mom figured it out...those are the same chairs that are in the nursery on Sunday's!  This amazed me!  I have practiced saying "Jesus" with him but never really talked about him to him!  I didn't even know he had put "church" & "Jesus" together!  He amazes me every day!

He cried when it was time to leave & yelled "Tee-Tee" across the room as we were walking out the door...  :/

Then of course we went to our favorite place...CHICK!  I got him his first kid's meal all for himself, hoping he was hungry like he was last time we were there!  He didn't eat as much as I thought he would, but he ate enough!  He LOVED that juice box!

We did a little playing all by ourselves, because no one is there at 4 pm!  Ha!  

I can definitely say he is beyond my favorite Valentine EVER & ALWAYS will be!  He is so sweet & special to me, more than words can ever say!  Mama loves you Punkin! =)

Sweet Valentine Boy

We went to church this morning, & then had takeout at with KeeKee at their house since Pop's was out of town!  Ryder was a GROUCH over there, so we immediately came home & I laid him down for a nap.  I tried to take his shoes off for his nap & he got SO mad!  Like MAD MAD!  I had to put them back on him for his nap!  AHH!!  The boy loves his "shooths"!

We went over to Mama D's for a yummy dinner!  She made some Louisiana cookin' stuff!  It was spicy, but if you just kept eating it, it was fine!  :P

There were other kids there so Ryder had a good ole time...he is constantly on the run, so these pictures are as good as it gets! 

He loves balls!  Even if he sees decorative balls...he thinks he can play with them!  haha!  AND...he LOVES his Mama!  {HIS Valentine!}

When Ansley was leaving...I told him to give her a hug.  He loves "gurrrls" & I knew he would!  Well...boy!  Did he give her a HUUUUG!  Poor thing, he KNOCKED her over & she fell & hit the entertainment center!  They were all fine afterwards, but I was like WOOPS!  He's just trying to be a sweet boy & is definitely already a lady's man!

I just love this little munchin' SOO much!  I love him more & MORE every day!

It's official...we look NOTHING alike.  But I swear he's mine!!

Poor baby...I guess Morgan took this when I walked outside for TWO seconds to move my car so someone else could get out.  It's weird because I drop him off in the nursery at church & he turns around & says "bye bye" but then obviously here...he LOST it!  Can you tell someone loves their Mama!?!  :P

Ryder's Valentine Cards

I wanted to do something special for all of our friends & family from Ryder for Valentine's Day.  Since I have my Silhouette now it makes things a little bit easier on my creativity!  This was the best picture I could get of a crazy 16 month old running around...but it'll work!  I really enjoyed making them & can see myself hand making more cards in the future!

I was upset that they wouldn't get out to everyone by Valentine's because of the snow, but most everybody should have their's by now!  ENJOY!

I was happy with how they all turned out...exactly like in my head!  Always a success when that happens!

-I completely failed to post my child's 17 month blog post yesterday.  #momfail
-I am loving these snow days...but I really do like my routine!
-I think the more we don't "do" the lazier I become...
-I have no reason to be "tired" but I'm tired because we haven't really done anything the last few days!
-The snow sure is pretty though!
-Ryder's been really good considering we've been stuck inside the last few days!
-It is nice we can change the scenery & toys up just by walking across the street!
-I have got to get outta this house, because all I do here is EAT & drink DDP!  AHHHH!!!
-I keep telling myself I want/need to shred, but by the time I put Ryder down at night, I'm too "tired" to actually do it...
-I realized at 8 o'clock tonight I had a blog post due for a class at midnight.  BLAH.  Even though we were OUT of school today!
-We got out today with Pops & went to Kroger & McDonald's for some coffee!  :P
-Dad commented on my car being clean & looking "brand new" so that made me feel good!  =)
-Justin Beiber's movies comes out & I wish I was going to see it, but I'm gonna wait for the crowds to die down & go see it in a few weeks!  :P  Y'all....he is just TOO cute, I don't care if he's only 17!
-I'm glad my mom has gotten some snow days to just chill, but she's gonna be in school till JULY!!
-Luckily G is graduating & won't have to make up these snow days!  :P
-Is my LITTLE brother REALLy graduating from HIGH SCHOOL?  TEAR.  That was me just FOUR short years ago.
-Ryder said "ba-nan-a" CLEAR as day today!  I was so proud of him!
-He is still obsessed with shoes & will put anybodies on that are just laying around!
-If I'm sitting on the couch without my Snuggie...he'll go get it & bring it to me!  I call it "mama's pooh!"  :P
-I actually fixed my hair today & put make up on...even though I'm still in sweatpants!
-I vacuumed & steam moped as well...which makes me feel productive.
-The homemade cookies I made yesterday...yeah.  There almost gone.  :O
-I've got Grey's & Private to watch!  YIPPEE!!
