mother's day weekend

Snuggle Bug is always so sweet to take care of all of us mamas not just on Mother's Day but all year round!  We have Muffins with Moms the Friday before Mother's Day and it's so sweet to see how excited all the kids get about getting to have their moms join them for breakfast!
They sang us the sweetest little song.  They sang it last year too, but since this was R's second year to sing it...he knew the words so much better and really enjoyed singing it for me!  The flower pot has the words of the song on it for us Mamas who don't know them! :P  Only one more year of R singing this song for me at SB! :(

Here is a video if you wanna watch!

He loves rubbing our faces together...it's like a hug or a kiss for him!
I'll take a kiss before heading off to school too! ;)
Poppy took R out for breakfast before his game the following day, and the flowers were so pretty Poppy stopped to take R's picture by them for me for Mother's Day!

After church on Sunday we headed up to the Little Red to spent some time with the fam!  It's always so beautiful and peaceful up there...Papaw does such a wonderful job at making and then keeping everything look nice--I promise you he works harder out there at almost 78 than I could every day!
Me and R were trying to take a selfie and Poppy snuck in! :P
 #guilty!
This little boy gave me the best title I'll ever have and I am so thankful for that!  Thankful for my everyday adventures with him!

it's t ball time!

We are loving having T ball games every Saturday!  For the second weekend in a row, we played a sweet Snuggle Bug friend of R's!  This time it was Essie!  She is a little diva and I love it!  She starts kindergarten in the Fall and we will most definitely miss her fun spirit being at school next year!

Essie's mom took these fabulous pics!

Look at that mean mug!  He told me he was thinking about "beating the other team"!!

He went out to his Mimi's for the afternoon to enjoy some time with them!  He loves it out there and I am so thankful for them and their influence on my lil man!

This is his dog Hawk--they have a pretty close bond and take care of each other!
I got him back from Mimi's and it was such a pretty night out...we headed to The Village to enjoy dinner on the patio!  We used to only have two restaurants down there, but now we have four!  It's such a neat little place and I need to make a point to get down there more often!

It was our first time at the new Purple Cow and it did NOT disappoint!  We've been back since then!  I am not a fan of the ones out of town, but this service, food and environment was ON POINT.
R even got to run around in the open area while KeeKee and Poppy talked to some friends!  I was letting him blow off some energy hoping he would sleep good that night! :P

ENJOY the day The Lord has made my friends!

t ballin' and toad suckin'

Last Saturday was a busy day around here!  We had a T Ball game and then we were off to Toad Suck Daze!  We didn't go last year because of the FREEZING temperatures, and someone will NEVER let me forget that!  So we were going this year, rain or shine! ;)
R had some great field action...and of course loved running the bases!  He played his best friend from Snuggle Bug, Dexter!  They were HILARIOUS on the field!  R would yell his first, middle and last name at him, they would high five, hug in the middle of a play, and were even wrestling on the ground at one point--where coaches thought they were fighting and we had to explain that they were friends!  We just all laughed and laughed!
These two have had special bond since day 1 at SB...and we just found out they are zoned to go to the same school next year! :0 ;)  We'll see how that turns out!  But I can't wait!  =)
With a quick change of clothes in the car...we were off to Toad Suck {with all the other crazies in town!}
They have a great kids play area...we even ran into Ms. Carol!  R obviously had fun!

This toad came to visit him at school a few days prior, so R felt pretty good about their relationship, and ran right up to him for a hug!

He was brave and did great on all the rides he picked out to ride!
We both crashed when we got home!  That sun sucked all the energy out of us!

We ended up going back down town on Sunday so he could ride the Sea Hampsters.  There was a {THREE} hour wait the day before and this mama was NOT having that!  This is a great invention and I'm glad he got to experience it without the wait!

Thankful for weekend memories like these with my little man!

first t ball game!

I still don't know how I am already here as a mom.  Doesn't ever boy mom dream of the days their son will play t ball?  Well, my time is here, and I'm afraid it doesn't stop from here and I couldn't be happier!  =)

R's team had only had one ball practice, but they didn't do bad at all!  It is all comical, but nothing but fun!
R did good running the bases, besides the fact that he went after the ball a few times WHILE RUNNING THE BASES!!!  Our new rule is that you don't go after the ball unless you have a glove in your hand!!  Oh my word!
I was busy being "Dugout Mom" so I didn't get too many pics...but he is shaking friends with his friend Karsyn from MDO.  We see her and her mom randomly around town here and there and they just love seeing each other!  It was fun for them to play each other.

R had a few good catches on the pitchers mound, and successful throws to first...so we were very proud of him for that, especially it being his first game.

So proud of my lil guy!
