WONDERFUL Saturday!

Today was such a BLESSED day!

I got up & did a few things around the house & then got ready to meet Allie @ one of our favorite places in town...STOBY'S! I hadn't seen her or spent much time with her just to chat & catch up in a good while. I was so blessed that she drove ALL the way down here to spend her Saturday with me! I had mom take some pictures of us...but I will not be posting my chubby checks...SORRY!

Of course we hit up Target afterwards...and we both got some good stuff! Of course some BASKETS (my current trend & favorite!), a table for Allie's room and some cute on sale clothing items!

We met my mom & aunt @ my house & we were busy lil bees ALL day long! We got things hung around the house, as well as the nursery! It just needs Ryder's letters above his bed, and it will be ready for pictures & a blog post! =)

Here is Ryder's coming home outfit which Jake picked up for me on Friday! =) I planned on him wearing a classic outfit when he came home from the hospital, then I decided on something more modern, personal & just...ME! I ordered the brown long-sleeve newborn onezie online as well as the hat. I got the argyle socks @ The Kitchen Store which have my GREEN in them, and found the lil newborn pants on sale @ Target. I got someone in town to monogram it, and now his outfit it COMPLETE!

I started to make my Cupcake Pops, which I am going to be handing out to guests when they come to see Ryder in the hospital (whenever he decides to make his appearance!)

-1.25 inch flower cookie cutter (bottom right), vanilla almond bark, chocolate sprinkles, candy coloring, and food coloring (if needed)

-Vanilla frosting, chocolate almond bark, & cake mix

-Lollipop sticks, clear baggies & twisty ties

-Styrofoam to stick lollipop sticks to dry.

Weekend's Over...

Jake worked yesterday SO I stayed around her most of the day & laid out a little bit on the back patio. I had a perfect little set up with my radio, fan, lawn chair, 64 oz. mug of water, Twilight, and a Birthing Book. I only lasted an hour or so...sadly. I do have slight tan-lines though.

Mom & I went to Target last night, I had to exchange a few things, and got a few things I needed for the house, as well as some green fitted sheets for Ryder's bed, and a BUNCH of hangers for all his clothes he already has! I also found a pretty BIG mirror for Ryder's room, that I plan on putting above his changing table for only TWENY FIVE bucks! I was so excited. I also found a sign that says "I Love You To The Moon & Back" It was kinda ugly but I just HAD to buy it!

I was ready for Jake to crawl in bed with me this morning for a few hours before we had to get up & get ready for church! Church was really nice this morning, I enjoyed it!

Since we were on THAT side of town, I talked Jake into just going to Wal-Mart to look @ their cribs, b/c the old Wal-Mart didn't have ANYTHING. I had found somethings I liked online, but of course they were currently out of stock in the color I want. We found the bed, and he said, "I'll get it for you today if you want." Well, DUH! I liked it alot more than I thought I would too...and of all places...WAL-MART! I didn't want to have to pay a FORTUNE for a crib ya know, so we were both very pleased!

We laid on the couch together this afternoon & watched a movie...well he did, I slept or blog stalked. We went to his parent's around three thirty for a surprise party for a lady that works for her. It was alot of fun, and of course YUMMY food!

Ryder continues to be such an ACTIVE baby! I told Jake he was doing gymnastics today & he said, "He is NOT doing gymnastics, he is KICKBOXING!" Ha! I thought that was pretty funny! He is just now starting to kinda get up under my ribs, which makes me like to think he is head down or @ least partially, which would be NICE!--minus the whole feet in the ribs thing!

I wasn't going to dare ask Jake to put the crib up tonight, I was just happy to have it, but he kinda said he was going to...so I didn't let him get away with not putting it together!

Someone didn't like me taking pictures, but HEY! This only happens ONCE!

I got this Vera diaper bag on Tuesday when I went to my Dr.'s appointment in Little Rock. I think it's cute enough for me to carry, but boy-ish enough for Ryder!

Last but not least...please ignore my hair/face...I just told Jake to take this last minute a few minutes ago before I got on here to blog. Me & lil Ryder-Man @ 27 weeks!

So long for now! Not far from bed & then work in the morning! Maybe I'll try to blog two days in a row! We'll see!

13 weeks!

This WAS me @ week 12. I felt ever so big that day, and I look at week 13, and think, "Oh, maybe I wasn't as big as I thought, or FELT!"

Today marks week 13. The last week in the First Trimester, which means morning sickness should pretty much be DUN-ZO after this!!

When I found out something as big as a PEACH was growing inside of me, it kinda made me step back & think WOW! Something really is GROWING in there...and it REALLY is getting bigger & bigger! I'm excited, but to think something really is GROWING 24 hours a day inside there!!!

Well, I only feel & look big on certain days of the week, so that is when I take my picture to get the most out of it.

Work went well today. Mom brought me lunch since she was off for President's Day. By the time I ate & she left...it was almost four!!

Oh the BACHELOR tonight!!!! AAAHHHHHH!!!! Me & mom SCREAMED when he let Jillian go! I could not believe it. I already had in my mind that she was going to be the one, and Melissa was going to be the runner up & be the next Bachelorette!!! And now that it's Melissa, and Molly...he BETTER pick Melissa, or I'm boycotting the show..FOREVER!

Well...I didn't plan on staying up this late, but new friends w/ new pictures on facebook will do that to you!
