ryder's family party! {4 years old}

We had R's family party at at Mimi & PawPaw's again this year...because he loved having it there so much last year and always talked about it!  We didn't really have a "theme" but we did have a Mexican food theme! ;)

It's so fun to get together with both sides of the family and for all of us to come together to celebrate this special little guy!  How is he really FOUR?!

We had a great turn out and R got lots of fun new toys to fit what he's into these days which includes: transformers, Ninja Turtles (especially dress up), Octonauts, and all kinds of games!  He loaded up!

Everybody had lots of fun playing in the playroom!  Mimi has all the best toys!

R was mad at somebody during the pictures...which is why there isn't a great one!  :/

That kid played with his new Octanaut Pod for a week straight after getting it!  He's still pretty crazy about it!  :P

Carnival Party

Ryder had a carnival birthday party to attend on Sunday, so on Friday we ran in his favorite toy store to play a little bit & pick out something for the birthday girl!

Let's just say...I am COMPLETELY lost when it comes to why to buy for a little girl!  I never thought I would be "that" boy mom that was so girl-mom clueless!  :P

R always has a blast in there & even made Caroline a "birthday cake!"

R had a blast!  It was kinda a block party...there was a son cone truck, sand pile, riding toys, multiple jump houses, and multiple kids celebrating their birthdays!  Each child had their own little tent with a table for presents etc.  There was popcorn, water & cupcakes too!  R seriously loved it!

Of course he ate all the icing off of the cupcake & then threw the rest away!  & then he had to have a clown nose!  Too funny!  ;)

Such a fun & beautiful afternoon!  The weather was PERFECT!

Poppy's 50th at the bank!

Poppy's bank threw him a fun 50th!  Considering all the medical problems he has randomly had over the past couple of months (torn ACL skiing (not because of AGE, but accident :P), & appendectomy) they went with a "medical" theme & he was the patient!  It was GREAT!  They had thought of everything & did a wonderful job!

It was a fun & nice surprise for dad!  I was glad me, mom & R could make it up there to help surprise him!

For a while now, me & Allie's boyfriend Josh have been chit chatting about the BIG DAY!  Saturday was finally the day & me & Ryder snuck off to Arkadelphia for a little surprise lunch party for the newly engaged couple!  

 I was so happy that we could be there & celebrate their special day! Leslie made some SUPER cute signs!  =)

 Friday night I threw together a little bucket of some wedding goodies--even though she already has the whole thing planned out in her head--now it just needs to be executed!  :P

I was so happy to get to be apart of their special day!  Thank you Josh for inviting me & my wild man down!  I can't wait for the next BIG DAY & know that it will be beyond PERFECT!  But then me & Allie won't share the same last name any more!  :(

PS.  I didn't even eat a burger or hot dog or anything yesterday because I was too obsessed with this AWESOME dip that DeeDee made!  AHH...it's all I ate, plus a skinny piece of Rick's cake!  ;)  Hehe!  I'll get the recipe soon & post it!
