Bear Naked Granola

Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola is one of my favorite breakfast or snack combos.  I recieved Bear Naked granola from Influenster for testing purposes in the Blossom Vox Box.

The "coconut almond" got my attention, but the "curry" threw me off a bit.  Upon pairing the granola with farmer's market raspberries and yoplait light raspberry yogurt...my initial though about the curry was correct.  The coconut and almond tastes were delicious, but the curry made the whole sweetness of this treat completely messed up...I was a bit disappointed and upset, because I could tell the potential it had--just without the curry!

The Sea Salt Caramel Apple one was much better suited for me and how I wanted to use my granola!  I ate it mixed with a little bit of Almond/Coconut milk...making it a little soggy and very enjoyable as a "cereal".

I found Bear Naked in my local Neighborhood Market in the protein power/health good stuff for $1.19...pick up a packet or two to try today!

reese's spreads

I was given the opportunity to review the new Reese's spreads courtesy of Influenster.  I immediately knew I wanted to eat it with some apple slices.  We LOVE us some Honeycrisp apples around here...so of course that's what we tried out first!
Plain peanut butter is too rich for me...and Nutella and such spreads are too hazelnut-ty...

The best way to describe it might seem very obvious...but it tastes exactly like a melted Reese's peanut butter cup!
I loved it and R loved it!--He likes it with bananas and I liked it with pretzels!
It's already available at your local grocery store from three to four dollars.  It's a MUST try...at least, if not a regular pantry staple!
My next plan...is to use it when I'm making puppy chow!  YUMM!

New Victoria Secret Workout Clothes

This is a sponsored post.  I received these products complimentary of Influenster for testing purposes and review as part of a contest.  If you are interesting in joining this wonderful "Word Of Mouth" marketing company please leave a comment below with your e-mail attached and I will be happy to invite you!

Victoria Secret just recently came out with a new workout line titled VSX.  I was so excited when I found out I had been chosen to recieve the #VSVoxBox, which included a sports bra ($52 value) and a pair of bottoms ($62 value) for testing purposes.

I knew VS had high quality products and this line is no different.  The quality of the fabrics that were chosen to makes these products are top of the line!  I couldn't get the pants on fast enough to try them out--even though I did trade my grey pants in for solid black!  I was very thankful the in-store exchange was quick and simple, even without a receipt!
I wasn't sure about the padding being this hardcore in a sports bra...but I was willing to try it out!

Today I wore both the "Incredible" sports bra and "Knockout" capris to yoga...outside and let's just say that was interesting in itself!  Considering it was 80 degrees out there in the middle of September!

The Body-Wick feature is probably my favorite feature out the sports bra.  It definitely soaked in my perspiration, which is exactly what I want my sports bra to do while I'm being active!  I stayed cool and dry the entire time!

I also noticed there were some areas that were mesh, which allowed an enjoyable breeze to move through at times, which was especially nice being out in the hot sun.

Overall I like the bra...even though the padding and cushioned wiring in the middle are a bit much for me and what I need/desire during a workout.  But I know most people probably wouldn't be bothered by this!

The "Knockout" capris are super comfortable and easy to move around in.  I feel comfortable in wearing them to workout as well as wearing them around town to run errands.  I will note that the seam is not on the SIDE of the leg.  It is more towards the back of the leg which I didn't like at first.  BUT the seam is very soft and smooth and didn't bother me at all today during my yoga practice.

Both of these items come in multiple prints and color to choose from--which makes things so fun!!  There are also different sports bra styles to chose from depending on your need for body type and your choice of activity. I am anxious to try a few different styles without so much padding!

Ending Sunday, September 22 you can recieve 25% off ONE VSX item using the discount code "4018".

I also saw they are offering Free Shipping with a sports bra purchase using code SHOPBRAS as well as a free panty using code FREEPANTY.

I am unaware of whether all three codes will work together or not.

So...you better get to shopping! :)

first aid {in a bottle}

I was skeptical at first when I saw the FIRST AID SHOT THERAPY bottle in my #SurfsUpVoxBox from Influenster.  It reminded me of the 5 hour energy bottles...I was skeptical of those at first as well until I tried one when in Kansas City for Allison's Bachey party last December.

I quickly researched it to figure out what it was all about and it's known to help people overcome pains, headaches, body aches, or even hangovers.

I have problems with my lower back more times than not, so I knew I was going to wait to use it when my back was hurting to see if it really worked!  (in the place of ibuprofen etc.)
A few Fridays ago...I was getting my last minute to-do things checked off of my to-do list before I headed to Nashville with the girls.

Enters lower back pain and a headache.  I did NOT have time to deal with that.  First Aid to the rescue!

The flavor wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible!--But I didn't really care!
I am happy to say that it worked!  Again...I was skeptical--I was ready to go out that day and buy some more (especially for the upcoming weekend I had planned!)  I looked for them at Target but sadly couldn't find them!

Come to find out...they are only available in Seattle and Boston at the time.  They are available on Amazon in multipacks...so I guess I'll just have to wait to get more until they are for sale down here.

Here is there ingredients list if you are curious as to how it works! ;)

Jamba Jamba!

Thanks to Influenster I was introduced to a new product that I didn't know was around!  I had heard people in bigger cities talk about Jamba Juice and how good their smoothies were!  But we don't have those here, so I had never gotten the chance to try them--UNTIL they came out in stores, to be created in your own home!
I was happy to see that my Target carried them...and at the time they had Strawberries Wild, and Orange Dream Machine.  I'm usually a strawberry/banana type person, but wanted to try out the other one as well!

I just added the contents of the bag to 8 oz. of light apple juice...
I used a food processor because I don't have a blender...but filled her up and turned her on!
I loved that it had frozen yogurt chunks in it that made it even smoother.  The flavor was delicious and it required little to no effort from me!  CHEERS for all!
