New news on CAC..

I heard some news about the Casey Anthony case tonight that I hadn't heard before...

While Casey was in jail, & people were looking for Caylee &/or her body.  Apparently Casey could see the news on the TV or something while in her jail cell.  Before Caylee's remains were really found, they had a false alarm & it was televised as it was all happening.  When Casey saw this she laughed & snickered after seeing the news on TV & went back into her cell acting like it was no big deal.

But then....when another alarm of remains having been found (which happened to be Caylee's actual remains), Casey could see that the TV camera crew was on Suburban Dr. she started hyperventilating in her jail cell & had to be medicated to calm her down & return her to a normal state.  Now...I'm no attorney, but what does this tell you?--She knew that that was where Caylee's remains were & that this was no false alarm, that this was the real deal & sweet little Caylee's remains had.been.found. & she might actually get caught & punished for what she had done!

Wow.  When I heard this, it just confirmed it all for me & what I've been thinking for the last four weeks.

Friday also brought another set of interesting news.  Cindy Anthony got on the stand & took FULL responsibly for the google searches for "chloroform" on their home computer.  This was something that the defense brought to the stand & I bet they are regretting it today!  I fully believe Cindy got up on that stand & took responsibily for those searches just to prevent her daughter from getting the death penalty.

Little did the defense know that she state could prove otherwise!  On Friday, the state brought Gentiva's (Cindy's former employer) attorney to the stand to prove that Cindy Anthony was at work on logged in to her username on her computer, during the exact hours when the "chloroform" searches took place.  So...this came back to bite the defense in THE BUTT!!

& I feel SOO bad for Roy Kronk.  He was the meter reader that found Caylee's remains.  He had found "something" multiple times during the months the searches were going on & called 911, but not one ever went out there to look around.  All he was doing was doing what the community had asked their people to do, & that was be on the look out for Caylee &/or her remains.  He did his good dead & wanted to remain anonymous through it all & I don't blame him....ESPECIALLY if what he "found" were really Caylee's remains--(& they were!)  & now he is being blamed for finding her remains, hanging on to them & throwing them back in some woods at a random time & taking responsibility for finding them so he could get media coverage & paid.  Uh...makes me so sad.  Baez says Mr. Kronk is a mentally bankrupt person desperate for attention & money.  I believe Kronk did the right thing.  He had contacted 911 multiple times & the police wouldn't go in the woods because it was "too jungley" & eventually lost his job for that.  Kronk eventually went back in the woods 4 months later & actually touched the remains himself with a stick & went & told police once again.  & think about it...if it weren't for Mr. Kronk finding the remains & actually making law enforcement do something about them, they wouldn't even be having a trail today!

If you want to talk about desperate for money...let's talk about Casey.  Multiple people talked about how fascinated by the media Casey was before she was arrested & in between her first and second arrest.  One time even saying she hoped it didn't rain so the helicopter news crew could get good shots.  SERIOUSLY?  Over the search/death of your DAUGHTER.  You have GOT to be kidding me!!  She also received $200,000 from ABC for pictures of her daughter

I think that's all for tonight!  But man oh man!--I'll get off my box now!  =) Closing arguments start tomorrow!

CAC wrapping up & some randoms-

Y'all might get tired of my bulleted posts, but I'm just speaking my mind...& it's kinda all over the place lately!  :P

  • They wrapped the defense's case today in the Casey Anthony Case.  Today & yesterday were quite interesting.  Yesterday was probably one of the saddest days.  Watching Casey's dad George on the stand sobbing uncontrollably talking about trying to commit suicide & how he felt the day he found out the human remains were Caylee's.  I can't even imagine.  I just think about the love that my dad has for Ryder & what it would be like for him to have to go through something like that...it literally BREAKS my heart.
  • From this case, if you parents don't see how important it is to NOT enable your children while they are growing up, I don't know what would make you see that it's NOT okay!  We would all like to think our children wouldn't do certain bad things, but make them take responsibilities while growing up BIG or SMALL.  I'm not blaming it on George & Cindy, but I do think the way they raised Casey has a little something to do with this.
  • It also makes me sad to see George getting thrown under the bus & torn apart throughout this case, & then Cindy getting up on the stand & trying to take responsibility for the google searches for chloroform on their home computer (which I don't believe).  She is just trying to prevent her daughter from getting the death penalty.  I did hear tonight that Gentiva (the company Cindy used to work for) has been asked to show documentation that Cindy was on her computer at WORK while these chloroform searches took place on their home computer.  Now...that would be something wouldn't it?
  • Jose Baez brought up today how the Anthony family has disposed of their pets after they died.  Of course he though it was going to help the defense, but I think it helped the prosecutors even more.  Casey had watched her dad do this many times & had done it the exact way which her own daughter's body.  But...it's all about how the jurors are going to take it.
  • Tomorrow is my birthday month!  I love the month all together...it's halfway through the year & I actually don't have too much going on with makes me happy!
  • I am soooo ready to be done with summer school!  A.WEEK.FROM.TOMORROW!
  • Oh yeah...I forgot about the 28 year old that flipped off Mr. Ashton while he was questioning someone on the stand.  He was caught on camera & put in jail for SIX DAYS!  I can't help but LAUGH!  As well as a 620 dollar fine!  HA!
  • Punkin' had gymnastics tonight & KeeKee & Naynee came to watch him!  I am so glad we did this for the summer, I just know he loves it so much!  It is great for him to get to run some energy off & do things we don't always get to do!
  • We had a dinner date with Ms. Rachel afterwards at Chick-fil-a & had a good time & a good visit! We might have to start doing this once a week or so!
  • When I got Ryder out of the car, he seemed to be extra super hot.  He's hot natured anyways, so I usually don't pay much attention to it.  Sure enough...101.2.  I can't say he's ever really had a fever.  Come to find out, he's just teething...4 big ole white suckers trying to break thru!  Poor baby!
  • I did 30 day shred for the first time in over a year last night & I could feel the burn this morning!  Not too bad because I've been stretching a lot lately, trying to get my ole cheerleading body back!  :P  I failed myself & didn't do it tonight, because of a killer headache.  I can barely walk from one room to the next because every step just makes it pound.
  • Every day I am finding new ideas for Ryder's baseball birthday party & it makes me want to get to crafting!!  I'm waiting till I'm done with class & then I'm gonna get after it!
  • I'm also planning on taking a HUUUUUGE load to Rhea Lana's at the end of July.  I haven't sold ANY of Ryder's clothes yet & I don't know why I thought I would hoard all of them for so long, but the tubs outside are beginning to pile up & I've realized I should probably just sell them now because I'm not gonna be having another baby for a good while & at what point am I going to stop hoarding his clothes?!  Lol...I think I'll keep some of them, & ones that I have special memories with, but they aren't doing me any good out in the storage closet off my carport!  Ha!
  • So...I may not really have a "busy" month of July, but I'll have enough to do on my plate!

CAC-update

I haven't updated about the case, but I've been watching!  Today was CRAZZZY!  The whole situation is sad & I am not taking it light by any means, but I just think these jurors are DUMB if they don't convict this mother of what she has done!  Yes, I am so interested in it...& how people (mothers) could actually do this kind of stuff.

Earlier this week, a man from the "body farm" talked about hairs from the trunk of Casey's car & cans of "air" from Casey's trunk as well.  The State made a HUUUGE mistake by showing the witness the wrong can & of course doing what he was supposed to do (& assuming the State would show him the right peice of evidence) he said, that yes he had processed that can etc.  Well come to find out it was the wrong one...& that just gave Jose Baez more stuff to role with!  GAH I hate him!  He looks/sounds so dumb up there 99% of the time!

Today, pictures were shown of little Caylee's skeletal remains, specifically the head.  It was especially sad to listen to them talk about it....but I think this is a good time for the jury to actually see what they are dealing with & they have GOT to be making some decisions in their minds.  I know some of them have stopped taking notes altogether.  This is kinda a sign to me that they already know what they are going to decide & don't need to take notes to look back on later during the "decision making process."

I still just don't know how Casey & her team of attorney's think they have ANY chance at winning!!  It is a waste of their time & MONEY!  If it truly was an ACCIDENT, don't you think Casey would have admitted to it being an "accident" in the pool that day & not have spent a pointless 3 years in prison?

They had to end court early today because Miss Anthony was "ill".  The jury was not told this & asked not to speculate on why they were released early.

What are your thoughts?  Has anything made your change your mind?  What do you think about the State's witnesses so far?  Let me know!  I'd love to hear!

CAC update...day 9

I didn't finish watching Thursday's session but I have watched a bit of it from yesterday.  There weren't many witnesses to take the stand, but more of jailhouse video tapes of conversations between Casey & her parents.  The defense says that Casey knew at this time that Caylee was no longer alive.  Knowing that & then listening to the tapes, shows that Casey is a top-of-the-line (if that's possible) liar!   She goes on & on about how she knows Caylee is okay & she knows that they are going to be all together again one day soon.

She also talks about what she wants over & over again.  She wants to be home.  She wants to get out of there.  She wants to be at home with Caylee.  She wants to be a family again.  She wants to have Caylee's birthday party.  It's just so odd for her to be saying all that when she knows that her little girl is not coming home & isn't okay.

Another thing...if Casey's dad had anything to do with the death of Caylee...he would have also known at the time these videos were recorded.  He didn't make any indication of being guilty of anything, or have anything to hide from anybody.  He didn't go on & on, on one certain subject or topic, or have anyt "slip-ups" that might make you question he was guilty of something.  He even made reference to wanting Caylee back so she would say, "Joe Joe, let's go swim".  Don't you think if he was apart of burying Caylee's little body in the woods after he found her after she drowned in their swimming pool..he would have really made that direct statement like that?  I don't think so.

She said to her dad, " You have been a great dad & a great grandfather & don't ever think that you weren't."  This just makes me think if she had been abused since the age of 8, by her father, I wouldn't think she would say those things to him.

Casey showed a lot more emotion today that I had ever seen her show.  During those videos she cried & cried & cried big tears.  It makes me wonder if she is missing Caylee, realizing what she has done & that she is going to spend the rest of her life in jail, or that she has thrown her dad under the bus, when he really didn't do anything wrong.

Also...if her dad was guilty, I am surprised that during the three years she has been sitting in jail she hadn't ever told someone that her dad was the guilty one & he should be the one in jail...not her!

I just hate that the defense is saying George Anthony is the guilty one.  I think it's going to eventually bite them in the butt, but that doesn't make it any easier on him.  I hope Casey realizes what she is doing.

I am starting to think that maybe...just maybe Casey didn't right out kill Caylee.  But I do think she did do something...I don't know what, but I think she is guilty for something, maybe not murder...but definitely something.

I say that she is guilty for something, because of all the lying that took place before Caylee was reported missing & as well as in the jailhouse tapes.  She currently says that she knew Caylee was dead when those videos were recorded of her with her parents.  Then why did she lie about it?  Why did she give her parent's any hope that they were going to see Caylee again?  Why did she go on & on about having a "feeling" that she knew Caylee was okay?  & that she knew no one was hurting her etc. etc.?  Man oh man...

just a little bit of my tid bit!

I haven't read anything, but have heard that today they talked about hairs there were found in the trunk of Casey's car...only one of like twelve came up to match the hair in Caylee's hair brush.  I'm interested to hear the details.  What have y'all heard/read new from today?

CAC...update

Last week, I hurriedly watched Thursday & Friday's court session & it was more of the same testimonies.  There was one witness in particular that I think made a turning point for the court case.  That was the owner/manager of the towing yard that towed Casey's car from a parking lot where she had abandoned it.  This man had been in the business for 25 years & at one point had worked with trash for two years as well & had dealt with many different smells & had learned to tell them apart.  He had also dealt with cars that had had people commit suicide inside of them at sat for days & days...he learned that distinct smell to be known as human decomposition.

I know that Cindy Anthony took the stand on Saturday, which I haven't seen, but did read some where that for the first time Casey lost it...was sobbing uncontrollably & just couldn't keep it together.   It was like she was realizing that her parents where totally & 100% against her.  As they should be...I don't know how this girl even thinks that she can actually win this case, I may be wrong...but I sure would hate to be wrong.

Today Cindy Anthony took the stand again & three 911 phone calls were played back from when she found out that Caylee had been missing for 31 days.  I can't even imagine having to relive what she is having to relive today...it's one thing to lose a grandchild from an "accident" or someting, but then it's taken to a whole 'nother level when you're having to deal with the fact that her daughter might have murdered her child.  Casey had said she had been "looking for her herself..." & that she knew who had taken Caylee.  (Sounds like BS to me).

I am ready for the day when Casey testifies.  She is the only one that can possibly tell exactly what happened to Caylee when she was "kidnapped" & went "missing".

As a mom, I know that if my child went "missing", I wouldn't just up & start looking for him by myself!  I would immediately contact the police & want all the help I could get from them, as well as my friends & family.  And...if I did decide to just look for him myself, I surely would be doing that every hour of the day I had the energy to be awake, & not out at bars & night clubs participating in "hot-body" contests...WHILE MY CHILD WAS MISSING!

This is an interesting, but disgusting case at the same time!!

CAC...Day 2

This video is quite lengthy, but at 2:15, Casey's mom tells her the current "rumor" is that Caylee drowned in the swimming pool at their house & Casey responds with "surprise surprise."  But now...that is what the defense is saying that really happened to little Caylee.  If this was the case, & Casey knew she was innocent & wanted out of jail, she should have told the truth (I use that word lightly) when her mom brought this up.  It just doesn't all add up.

Another thing, they say her dad molested her starting at the age of 8, but when given the choice to see one of her family members, she chooses her dad.  That is a big odd to me as well...if he really was that horrible of a father, you'd think that he wouldn't be the one she wanted to see!

Today consisted of the State bringing witnesses up on the stand.  Most of them were roommates of Casey's boyfriend at the time, Tony Lazzaro.  There were three other males (plus Tony) & Casey living in the apartment at some point in time between May & July of 2008.  A girlfriend of one of the roommates also testified.  They all talked about how "normal" Casey acted during the time that they knew her, particularly June 20th-ish (just 4 days after Caylee "drowned" in the family swimming pool according to the defendant).  Casey was out partying, partaking in "hot body" contests at a local night club, Fusion, & in charge of the "shot-girls" & making sure they were doing what they were supposed to be doing.

Don't you think if your daughter had "drowned" just four days prior, you wouldn't be out partaking in these type of activities much less, not have told anyone out her death, or that she was "missing".  At one point they say Caylee was "kidnapped" by the babysitter/nanny that Casey paid $400 a WEEK!  What the heck!...they definitely need to get their stories straight!

Casey's attorney just seems like a sleez-ball to me!  He is tacky & definitely seems like he is in it for the money, & already knows they this is a case that he canNOT win.

It is interesting to watch Casey's facial expressions as the witnesses answer their questions.  She literally sits there..making no facial expressions, occasionally moving her eyes to a different focal spot & whispering something in her attorney's ear, but nothing more.  Odd.  Odd.  ODD.

The neighbor that lent Casey a shovel on the day she backed her car into her parent's garage when they weren't home, also went up on the witness stand & confirmed that he indeed let her borrow the shovel.  Why else would she need a shovel??  The defense team tried to get the State to not be allowed to discuss  the "shovel" as it was not "relevant" to the case.  Ummm...okay...??  YES IT IS!!  Especially since Caylee's body was found BARRIED  in woods near their home!!

The rest of today's witnesses got boring.  More Fusion workers & what not.  I might actually have to agree the the Defendant's attorney on how all this talk about Fusion & what Casey's "job" there had to do with the killing/disappearance of Caylee Anthony.

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Casey Anthony Case...Day 1

I have been interested in the Casey Anthony case since it all unfolded back in the summer of 2008. It was so sketch & just didn't all match up, even at the time it was going on. I remember hearing about the "mom" out partying at night clubs & getting new tattoos etc. WHILE he daughter was "missing" but no one had reported the little girl missing at the time...It was just all weird.

I read some where last week that the jury had been chosen for the case & it was predicted to last 6-8 weeks & begin today. I had no idea it was going to be LIVE on TV! Oh my word! I got super excited when I found out...that may sound terrible, but this woman is a MONSTER in my eyes & though I could NEVER be an attorney, all this stuff interests me...

I missed most of the LIVE trial today on TV, one because we don't get up before 8...Ryder is my current alarm ;) & I wasn't sure what channel it was one...but you know me I found it on You Tube! =) ALL 23 parts! :O

So...I am currently catching up on the opening statements from today, I will be setting my own alarm to be up by 8 tomorrow to watch! Like I need one more thing to take up my time...

The State of Florida did a pretty bad-A job in their opening statement if I do say so myself! The day-by-day play gave the jury a very good idea of exactly everything that went on & especially all of the crazy lies that Casey told during those 31 days. Everything that the attorney talked about which would lead one to believe Casey murdered her daughter, don't just coincidently line up. There are TOO many things that SCREAM that Casey has to be guilty. I don't see any possible way she can be innocent. The smell in the back of Casey's car, the lies, the phone records, the "job" that she didn't have, the "nanny" that she said she had, google searches, time frame of were abouts...etc.

I just finished watching a little bit of the defendant's attorney's opening case. BLAH is all I can really say. I don't know how much of it I believe, but I know he had to try REAL hard to come up with the story he did. Caylee drowned in the family pool...uhh...really? & accused Casey's dad of helping her hide Caylee's body? But then why would Caylee have been duct-taped all over her head, including her nose, mouth & jaw? Not a bit odd huh?? & all the google searches that were found on their home computer that only Casey had access to during that time of day...even stranger!

Sadly, I'm not on the jury & no one really cares about my opinion... ;) but without even hearing/seeing any hard evidence, I can already tell she's as guilty as guilty can be. No questions asked.

I encourage you to keep up with this trial & I will continue to do blog updates...I'd love to hear what y'all think even & ESPECIALLY if you disagree with me! :)
