{May 13}
I had a wonderful Mother's Day with this lil mister!

{May 14}
Taking care of Mimi's flowers!

{May 15}
My sweet baby's last day of MDO!  :(

{May 16}
The night before we are supposed to leave for GA, lil man comes down with a pretty bad temp.  He laid on the couch while I tried to pack.

{May 17}
After not leaving town till 11 am, we FINALLY made it to GA!  Lil man was worn out but I was so glad we got him some antibiotics!  Nothing like having to sanitize everything with hot water in a hotel sink--that's as good as I could do!  :P

{May 18}
Such a fun day!  Tonya's Bridal Luncheon at the Vintage Cafe in downtown Marietta Square, then rehearsal at the beautiful wedding location, then dinner at the wonderful Brookwood Grill in Roswell!  OMG.  DELISH!

{May 19}
WEDDING DAY!  My beautiful bride, me with my lil man, Bride & Groom like 2 minutes after they got HITCHED, & R with the sweet flower girl, Amber he seriously FELL in love with over this weekend!

Travels...

R started to run a fever two nights ago, but was of course fine all day yesterday. Sure enough it was back last night. I knew something was wrong...& of course my baby who never gets sick gets sick the night before we were supposed to leave for a wedding.

Instead of packing, I spend most of my night curled up on the couch with my poor baby. I got these kool patches for his forehead & he actually really liked them...

We had a lil photoshoot! ;)

Sure enough this morning at the walk in clinic...double ear infection & strep throat. It's only his second {& third...} ear infection at two & a half so I guess I shouldn't complain. It just breaks my heart to know he is hurting & in pain...especially with his throat. He had been drooling so SO much & I finally know why...because he didn't want to swallow because it hurt too bad! :(. Smart kid I guess...

Long day...10 hours on the road & R's first time in a hotel {not a condo} & he just "wants his house" which breaks my heart. Lots on the agenda the next few days! :)

R's last day of MDO-

What a wonderful year R had at MDO this passed year!  It has truly been such a BLESSING to not only him, but me as well!  I never ever worried about him when I dropped him off because I knew he was in great hands, and with his friends, learning about the Lord and having a big'ole time and not suck at home with me all day! :P  He learned so much at MDO this year, he would be singing a new song, or telling me about something, and I would say, "Where did you learn that...?" "At school..." It made my heart so happy that not only were those things being taught, but that he was actually learning them as well!

{2 years, 8 months & six days}

FLASH BACK!!
 {His first day of school in September!  Just one week shy of turning 2!}
{One of my favorite pictures of us}

We are so thankful for his wonderful teachers Ms. Anna & Ms. Angie!  We are going to miss seeing them and their kids!  They were so sweet my lil man and put up with him on his "off days" and the more times than not..when he wouldn't take a nap!  ;)

I would HIGHLY recommend MDO to any mom!  Even if you don't need the childcare, it is a GREAT opportunity for your child to get out of the house and learn to interact with other kids their age, and start to learn how being in a classroom works for when they do go on to Kindergarden in a few years!  Not to mention, it gives mom a little bit of a break, to do things like go to the grocery store ALONE!  Ha!

Project 365...Week 19

{May 6}

I love when my sweet baby falls asleep on the couch & I get to carry him to bed!  Weekends always wear him out!

{May 7}
Uncle G took lil man fishing at the country club!  He was so excited about it!  He got to real in a few himself & I tagged along to take pics!

{May 8}
Tuesday morning Ryder's MDO had "Muffins for Moms!" & I loved being able to be there with him!  He was so sweet the entire time, & even walked London back to class with him!

{May 9}

Snuggles with my boy on the couch before bed--my FAVORITE time of day!
{May 10}
KeeKee & I had to help host a bridal shower Thursday night, so Poppy & R had a fun night!  The park, Micky D's for dinner & of course some Fro Yo afterwards!  I love that these two have so much fun together!

 {May 11}
 Mother's Day shopping at The Kitchen Store & More for KeeKee!  He found himself a lil kitchen to play with!  I had to drag the kid out of there, even though he told me "there are lots of giiiiirly things in here!"

{May 12}
Nothin' sweeter than a sleeping baby...I am always keeping him up too late since it's SUMMER!  :)

Mother's Day 2012

Sunday morning we went to "early" church for us...& I am seriously NEVER late for church, but it was Mother's Day, so I slept in a little bit just because I could!  ;)  I was only like 5 minutes late, but again...so not like me!  We headed to my parents afterwards to exchange gifts real quick before we changed & headed out to the river...

 Punkin' bringing me my gift & saying "Happy Mother's Day!"  So sweet!  =)

 & these as as good as the pictures got!  That's what happens when you have a two year old BOY!  ;)

Ryder got KeeKee this little sign I thought was too funny!  ;)  & it is definitely true about KeeKee & Poppy!

It was time to head to the river to see every body.  We weren't only celebrating our mother's, but also April & May birthdays, and kinda a "going away" party for my sweet cousin Dawson who is leaving for basic training for the guard tomorrow.  It was a bitter sweet time, but we are so proud of Daws and all that he has and is going to accomplish!  We will miss seeing him at family gatherings, but am so proud of what he is doing!

 Ryder man & Daws!  (R is in dressed like these because he was painting outside & I didn't want his clothes to get messed up!)
Dawson & Garrett...Garrett is also leaving us for a little bit (only 9 weeks) to go to Kaleo in Destin, FL so this was kinda a "good bye" for a while for everybody!  Again, I am just so proud of both of these boys & the two different routes they are taking with their lives right now!

 On our way home, we dropped R off at Mimi & Pawpaw's for the night!  He sure does love it out there & am so glad!  Before we even left, he was already "dressed" and outside watering Mimi's roses!

 This is real life!  Haha!  He is a "country boy" he says!  :P

I love him so much & am so blessed & undeserving to call him my son, and SO thankful to be his mom!
