6 months!

What Lil' Mans been up to!

-Reaching and grabbing @ EVERYTHING!

-Loves his momma! He leans his face against mine all the time...too sweet!

-In #2 diapers now...which is nice!

-Wearing 6-9 month clothing.

-Started rasberry-ing just today...spitting every where!

-Eating three solid meals a day. Usually cereal & fruit for breakfast, veggie & fruit for lunch & veggie for dinner.

-Loving bath time...and took our first bath in the kitchen sink.

-Totally sitting up on his own..don't really worry about him following over any more.

-Still trying to get him to crawl, not having it JUST yet!

-Wakes up most mornings a/r six and if I don't have class, I'll put him in bed with me.

-He loves his KeeKee & Pops and loves when they walk in the door from work every night!

-Jumps SO SO SO much in his exersaucer...sometimes I can't even hear the TV!

-Will jump on anybodies lap if they let him

-Vocal ALL the time!

-So curious when we go out on the town

-Holding on to things for longer amounts of time...not dropping them as much

-Laughs @ us all the time...when we laugh, he laughs!

-LOOOOVES the outdoors!

-Shacking rattles alot more than he used to

-Getting pretty easy to put down to sleep. Just needs his paci and blankie!

-Starting to cuddle with his giraffe in his crib.

-We are pretty much solid on one morning nap usually 10-11 and an afternoon nap...1 or 2-3 or 4

-Dirty diapers are SOLID...pretty much all the time. WAHOO!

-We all know when he's poopin...he grunts & makes this TERRIBLE face!

-He poops on average three times a day...sometimes more sometimes less.

-Loves riding in the car...just new things to see!

-Almost too long for the car seat! Who ever thought!?

-Will sometimes sleep on his back if he feels like it

bad blog mom...

So...I've been a bad blog mama this week. I blame it on the presentation that was due Tuesday night, the HUGE math (Number Systems) test Wednesday, and two essays due on Friday. PHEWW....glad this week is OVER. Ryder has been great all week, so that is a HUGE blessing. I have an article due on Monday, but it shouldn't be very hard. One more week till Spring Break! Wish I was going some where...maybe we'll venture to Little Rock one day with KeeKee! Ha! :P

I guess...two weekends ago we went out to eat with Kelly & Abbey! It was so good to see them and Ryder enjoyed them as well!

Sweet punkin' was all twisted up in the bed one night.

We went to a baby shower last Saturday & I won this bottle full of pacifier shaped sweet tarts b/c I guess closest to the correct amount (1700 something..) & Ryder automatically grabbed it and tried to drink out of it! It was a little too large, and nothing came out for him!

Auntie Allie came & stayed with us last Friday night and Ryder just LOVED her!

He has something for cell phone...iPhones in particular!

The weather has been so PRETTY this week, and we went out on the back patio to enjoy it!

No exciting news this weekend. We are going to a baby shower tomorrow in LR so that will be fun! Other than that...we're just gonna enjoy this weather!

2 posts in one day...WHAT?

-Sorry for the lack of Ryder pics lately...he's still cute as ever! Ha!

-I started back up "30 day shredding" tonight...

-I decided no more sweet tea for me. Water & Sonic diet coke w/ vanilla ONLY.

-My professor @ school today said "That's pretty f'd up" (talking about the watergate scandal) WELCOME TO UCA OBU TRANSFER STUDENT. lol...

-LOST is just completely insane. @ least I still know what's going on.

-Punkin' is starting to throw these fits when you aren't in the same room as him. He screams like a GIRL & puts his arms out and just starts shaking!

-It's sad that I see people around town I know I went to HS with, but I can't even remember their name or what year they were! ECCCK!

-We played outside for a little bit today, but came him cause the wind was blowing too hard.

-I'm excited about the baby shower I'm going to on Saturday! =)

-yes...2 posts in one day! WAHOO!

-Maybe I won't nap tomorrow when Ryder naps and I'll upload some pics of little man! He misses ya'll too! =)

bad blog mama

I have been a bag blog mama the past few days. I figured I would update a little bit on what we've been up to.

Saturday was a big day for us. I got up early & went & got my hair cut! ALOT! I'm really happy with it...I kept telling myself I was gonna let it grow out...but this awkward stage just did me in Friday morning and I called an made an appointment. After that Ryder & I grabbed some yummy lunch @ TGI Friday's with our friend Dapple & then headed to Target to help her with her baby registry! It was so much fun...and made me realize all the lil things I missed out on not having a girl. But oh well...I'm happy with my lil punkin'! =) Target was soooo crowded, but what do you expect on a pretty Saturday afternoon...people were OUT and ABOUT! Saturday night we had dinner with Auntie Abbey & Auntie Kelly @ El Parian....a new Mexican place for me. Ryder sat in a high chair for the first time there. I haven't been putting him in one, even though he can sit up on his own cause I've been waiting to get a high chair cover but I'll just have to wait a little more! Ha! He has gotten to where he is into EVERYTHING @ restaurants, and it's just easier to set him in there & scoot him away from the table than hold him and have to say "No No" every 2 seconds! It was so good to see these girls & catch up on alot of things!

Sunday we headed to church & punkin' looked oh so cute I made add! It was his second time in the nursery & they said he just bounced & jumped around the whole time! I picked him up a/r 12:30 and he hadn't slept! I was shocked! He hadn't slept ALL morning! Needless to say he was crashed out before we left the parking lot!

Monday after class Ryder laid down and I was just gonna lay down with him for a lil while. Well....apparently we were both super tired...we slept from 10:30 to 2! I felt like my day had disappeared. But I wouldn't change a nap with my lil one for anything!

Today we got up & got around and went to the bank to close a few accounts & take care of some other business, went to Hobby Lobby to get some supplies for some projects I've been working on for Luke & Jenn's baby shower this weekend, and then we went & grabbed lunch with Pop's @ Chick-Fil-A. I sure do love that place, and the Christian music inside is even better! I looked @ all the kids running around in the jungle gym and thought "I'll have one in there in a few years!" Dad said..."Yeah...hanging from the rafters!" HaHa! I put him in a high chair in there as well...he wanted EVERYTHING that was on the table, the Honey BBQ sauce, the napkins, the fork, knife...my drink--he is very attracted to things with straws! Ha! Towards the end he got fussy and did his high pitch girl scream! OMG! What's a mom to do? I loaded him up as fast as I could and jetted out the door...all while kinda laughing @ how BAD my child was acting! Ha! He was turning heads & everything! Once again...he was passed out before we left the parking lot. Poor thing fights it so bad!
