Mother's Day 2013

I had a wonderful day spent with my lil man and my Mama and the rest of the fam!  We got up and went to church, where R sat with us and played Temple Run...yeah I'm that mom, but oh well!  He learns more in there than he does in his class {when he's quiet!}!  We ran home, changed clothes, ate a small lunch and then headed out the door to the river!

He literally played outside ALL.DAY.LONG with the cousins and caught this lizard at one point!  I LOVE being a boy mom!  =)

We had taco salad for lunch and I thought it looked pretty!  :P

I had a wonderful Mother's Day and I thank the good Lord every day for making me be a mom to my sweet baby boy.  He's my pride and joy and honestly can't even begin to imagine my life without him!

Saturday night at dinner, R was saying the prayer and said, "Thank you Jesus for making me and my mommy together..." The best way to start off my Mother's Day right there!

Ponderosa South

I wanted to give my readers a heads up about a new company that seriously has some legit stuff to offer!   The founder and owner is one former roommates and very best friends from college--husband!  

To start off with, I just love the name...Ponderosa South.  

But, I might love their slogan even more--Based on traditions.  

This makes me thing of the south in general--but also families, fraternities, sororities, colleges, high schools etc.--it could go so many different ways, but no matter who you are or where you live, you live by some sort of tradition, no matter what that tradition might be!

Want to know what's even BETTER!? You can chose from ALL of the colors listed below!  I was blown away by the color options, but ended up going with melon and crunchberry, but lagoon blue was a close second!  Sounds fun right?! =)

Down On The Farm!

As I've said before, I'm so glad that R gets to go out to the farm once a week a be a country boy!  He learns a lot out there from his Mimi and PawPaw, as well as getting to see and dow a lot of things he wouldn't get to do around here.  He loves going out there too and that makes me extremely happy!

Birthday Birthday!

Last year when R was in MDO twice a week, he made a sweet friend Karson--they were literally best buds every day at school!  I found out she was the niece of a girl I went to HS with so that was fun!  Karson has the sweetest parents and Grancie that we saw often at pick up and drop of!  R invited Karson to his party last year and it was neat to see them after we both decided to go to different schools this past year.  R was so excited when he got invited to Karson's Princess party at a cool play place that we had never been to before, a town over!

This place was huge!  R would go in and I wouldn't see him for like ten minutes...kinda freaked me out, but he did great!

There were ALOT of kids there, but it was alot of fun!  She got a lot of cool princess toys and games, as well as Doc. McStuffins...which R wanted so bad!! ;)

It was a four story play house...HUGE!  I think R was in the pic, and snuck out of it as soon as I clicked it!  

Hopefully we'll get to go back one day...it's connected to a restaurant so that was really neat!

Two years ago May 1st!

Time sure does fly!  How is is already May 1st?  Wow!  So thankful I have this lil blog to look back on what was going on in our lives years ago!
