halloween 2013

Funny story.  I was teaching about the skeletal system on Halloween.  I didn't plan it that way it just kinda worked out.  I had real bones to show my students the spongy bone and compact bone.  They asked me where I got them and I just told them I had harvested them over the weekend.  They all looked at me like "REALLY?"  I just went with it and I guess they did too!  Well...one their exit slip one of my students asked, "Y u lie about harvesting dem bonez?"  I couldn't help but LOL when I read this!!

Poppy's bank always dresses up with a them and this year it was decades.  We used to be able to go to the bank on Halloween and see everybody dressed up but we couldn't this year, but Poppy did send us this picture of him and his secretary Christy!

We always have to go see Mr. Nick on Halloween!  R just loves him!  He had a bucket full of whoppers waiting on R!  :P

R was a minion at his Snuggle Bug fall festival, but Halloween night he came out in the ENTIRE outfit himself and said he wanted to be a baseball player so we just went with it!  :P

 Obviously he didn't want his picture taken...but I had to document it!  :P

We went around the neighborhood next door and few on our street and called it a night!  He got MORE than enough candy so no need to drag it all out any longer!  He loves Halloween!  ;)  Such fun to see Holidays through kid's eyes again!

Poppy's bank always dresses up with a theme...this year it was a Haunted House--& it was a biiiit scary!  Poppy was Dracula, but R wouldn't let him wear his teeth--he looked PRETTY good!  R was in his PJs because it was PJ day at school instead of wearing their costumes!

Snuggle Bug Fall Festival 2012

The Saturday before Halloween Ryder had his school Fall Festival out at one of the little girl's house.  It was the perfect place for it...there were games all the kids got to play, a four-wheeler wagon ride, the yummiest hot dogs and treats, a fire pit for smores, and even a hay ride at the end!  We were so glad that KeeKee & Poppy got to go with us!

The parents were encouraged to dress up to...so we were pirate together!  ;)

He loves being with all his friends so much!  But he is such a WILD man around all them!  It's kinda funny!

He was seriously OBSESSED with this elephant peanut game...he would NOT stop feeding that lil elephant!

We had a lot of fun, & R is still talking about the party!  =)  Such a special place with such special people!

 We woke up with a few man problems & luckily I had time to take him to Dr. before I had class...got things situated & off to school!

 I got wild man from school after he stayed the night with his Mimi & he was wearing one of his new shirts from Hawaii!  I'll let you read it...haha!  :P

 Mommy was on Fall Break--so R stayed home with me all day Thursday!  We had a fun park date & it was seriously 85 degrees!  So nice!
