powder puff football

My school puts on a Powder Puff game for the 7th grade football players and any 7th grade girls that want to play.  I semi helped put it on...and I thought R would enjoy it so he came along!  He loved it and got to meet a lot of my coworkers!

He was a GREAT helper at the concession stand, taking money, handing out candy bars, and even making hot chocolates!  He decided he wanted to be a robot with all the empty candy boxes! 

We ran into Ms. Essie at Hobby Lobby after school with her parents!  Miss that sweet girl!

UCA weekend!

There was an art exhibit at UCA a while back that just looked too cool for us not to visit.  It's called "The Pool" and it's circles that are all wirelessly connected and react in different ways with each other when you step on them.  We loved them and R was literally sweating when we left!

The following morning we had tickets to see the Lightwire Theatre at UCA which is a show in the dark and the characters are created by using light ropes etc.  They were featured on America's Got Talent!  If you ever have the chance to go...I highly recommend it!  R loved it!

After the play...even in the pouring down rain--we headed over to the football area to visit Poppy and the bank at their tailgate.  There weren't a lot of people there, but we got some good cajun food and made the most out of the day!

I just let wild man do what he wanted and knew I was gonna bath him and put him down for a nap when we got home!

Thankful to live in a town with so many different opportunities for me and my lil guy!

First UCA Football game & loving every minute of it!  

R's First UCA Football Game!

Saturday afternoon we headed up to Mommy's school to do a little tailgatin' with Poppy's bank before the big game against Sam Houston!  We even got to see Uncle G & all his buddies which is always fun!  R loves them so much & we don't get to see them as much now that G doesn't live at home.  

I've taken him to tailgate before, but we've never actually made it into the game...but we conquered that adventure on Saturday!  

He was seriously soaking it UP before the game even started!  Let's just say he loves the cheerleaders & the band!--could actually care less about the football players!  :P

By halftime...this is what he was doing!  So...we watched the band & left!  It was a great experience though & I'm glad I took him!  We might even make it back this year for another one!

Battle of the Ravine

Last weekend I got to take Punkin' to his first OBU football game to watch Casey play!  It worked out where Pooh came & stayed with us Friday night, I got up early & went to take my Praxis in LR Saturday morning, Pooh watched R & then they meet me in LR & we headed to the game!  I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends that help me out when I need it!  Here are a few pics from our day with friends!

We had a great time & the weather was GREAT!  Sadly, we lost to the whole Reddies, but it was still a wonderful day with friends!

GO bears!

Last night was the season opener for UCA!  The bank was cooking & tailgating so we made our way up there an hour or so before the game!  This was the only purple shirt I had for Ryder...ha, but it worked! =)  He had a blast & is in LOVE with the band!  He loves being around people & just getting to run wild...he barely took a break to eat or even take a drink!

 He loves his KeeKee so much!  =) Look at that biggo cheesin' grin!

 He couldn't wait to get up there & see his Pop Pops!  He spotted him in the crowd & just ran up to him & waved & said "Hey baby!"  b/c that's what dad always said to him!

 & look who else we ran into!  He saw her & said "KEL-LEE!"  He made friends with all sorts of new people & I swear that child never meets a stranger!

 This is a little girl named Ali whose dad works with my dad.  I thought she looked adorable in her purple dress & bow!  =)  Ryder did too...

 Me & my crazy ole wild child!  Oh yeah...we ran into Mr. Grant too!  Ryder said.."GRAAANNNNT!" I'm sure he thought we were about to go get sno cones!  Mr. Grant also unbuttoned his shirt to "show off some chest hair!"  ha!

We had a fun time & can't wait for the next one!
