Tonya's a College Grad!

Saturday morning, Punkin' & I were up eating breakfast watching Yo Gabba Gabba I'm sure & Luke (my cousin's fiancé) text me asking if I wanted to web link to watch Tonya graduate from Georgia Tech!  Well heck yes!  So I ran & got my laptop & got where I needed to be, right as they were announcing, "College of Management"! YAY!!  That was her!

I am such a proud BIG cousin...{even though she beat me at graduating from college :P} haha!  From what I have heard her speak out her degree & her career path, she is going seriously do a great, & be such an amazing addition at her new job & truly has a passion for what she is doing--that is very evident!  & yes, she already has a big girl job!  Another reason I am so proud!  =)  Not to mention...she's getting married in like...TEN DAYS!!

We love you Ton, & since we couldn't be at your graduation, this was the next best thing!  ;)

Disney On Ice

Ryder had his first Disney on Ice experience!  Ryder was so excited to go...& I'm glad his dad got to go with us.  It's important to me that we do things together every once & a while for Ryder to remember us being together at times.  We went & ate hibachi before hand...

I am so thankful for these memories with my little man & I hope he remembers them & appreciates them as he grows up!

Toad Suck Daze 2012

I mentioned in my Project 365 we went to TSD on Saturday, but I wanted to make sure & blog about it in it's own post too!  I was so hesitant to take R, just b/c he's 2, I was alone, it was stinkin' HOTT out, & spending a chunk of change on...uhh...some rides, over priced food, maybe some games & maybe some junk!?  But you know what...you only live once, and my dad took me as a kid & by-golly I want this kid to have a full experience on life too, no matter what it means from me!  If he's gonna grow up around here, just like I did, I don't want him to ever remember a time when we didn't go to TSD together...so here we are!  Toad Suckin' it up!

It was so good to run into Mary Beth!  R thinks she lives at the church b/c she works in the nursery every Sunday!  Ha!  :P

He only road two ride & this was his fav...he called it the "lady bug" ride.  He seriously straight up chilled like this the entire time!  Ha!

I was so glad he got to race a toad...(even though I did most of the work)...it always a neat experience & I hope it's something he remembers & looks forward to eat & every year!

Your toad is supposed to stay in his own lane to win...but of course ours didn't.  He was probably tired from being raced all day by crazy little kids!  :P

After the races...he went & posed behind this himself!  Ha!

 & how tacky is that hat??  but he seriously LOVED it!  & is still wearing it today!  Ha!

 & look who we ran into!  You get lucky if you run into them!  They were so sweet to stop & let us get a picture!

& this was all Mama really cared about!  :P  Ten dollar lunch right there & I loved every second of it!  Already looking forward to next year with my lil man!  =)

Project 365...Week 18

{April 29}

Mommy had 3 papers/projects due on Wednesday & hadn't even started them till Tuesday night!  :O  Thankful for my parents bringing me this iced vent caramel macchiato!   

{May 1}

I had an 8 am final & Ryder's school doesn't start until 8:30, so I asked my dad to take R to school for me.  Of course they stopped by McDonald's for some breakfast first!  :P 

{May 2}

I had to turn in a paper & knew it wouldn't take five minutes, so I just brought R with me to class & he LOVED it!  Ha!  So did my professor!  We ran into JT & Uncle G which made R's day! 

{May 3}

We went to the Toad Store the day before to get R a Toad Suck shirt.  He wore it to school on Thursday, & they made these cute lil toad hats!

Last minute Friday morning I decided I wanted to take R to Disney on Ice...THAT night!  Ha!  Luckily I found some tickets & his daddy went along with us!  It was a fun lil adventure!  Thanks Poppy! =)

We ventured down to TSD with the rest of the town!  OMG was it HOTT!  We did everything we wanted to do...raced a toad, saw Mr. & Mrs. Toad, road rides, ate a corn dog on a stick, road the magic carpet, drink three lemonade & watched Stuck on a Truck for a little bit!  Ryder did great & never once complained about walking around!  We both came home & took a 3 hour nap!  :P 

April LOVE--

I used to a "monthly" product love back in the day...& I kinda miss it!  So I thought I would start it back up, even though I may not do it every month!  Feel free to do a "PRODUCT LOVE"  post on your blog & leave me a message in the comments letting me know you did a post as well, so I can see what I'm missing out on & need to try!  ;)

My friend Morgan just recently bought a UV light to do gel nails at her house...& OMG!  I will never pay for a manicure again!  I have on cajun shrimp right now...& have had it on for a good week, and no chips or anything just yet!  Love it--& can't wait to try out some different colors!

I've mentioned it before...but this doesn't leave my side.  It's like an adult zippy cup, & I love that it doesn't sweat!  This is how I make sure I am getting the needed amount of water every day!

I tried this out a while back, thinking about the chemicals I was putting on my face, & was drawn in by the word "naturals".  I am also all about using a face wash that doubles as a makeup remover as well.  I was more than happy with this face wash after a couple of weeks, it smells FAB, and gets all of my waterproof mascara off-score!

I had never used a moisturizer before putting on my make-up & I know I should...so when I bought the face wash from above, I decided to try this out as well.  I wish it had SPF in it, but it doesn't. You only need a little bitty bit, but I've enjoyed using it, it also make me feel good knowing I'm giving my skin some multi-vitamins as well!
